The Computer Science department at Salt Lake Community College is in the process of significantly expanding its computer labs and remote access offerings. Learn from our experience how we've created an affordable desktop delivery method incorporating thin clients, remote access, virtualization, and the Omni Desktop Multiplier with new laptops and repurposed desktops. Best of all, it's all built on top of open source software!

David has been a professor in the Computer Science department at Salt Lake Community College for over 7 years. A huge advocate of open source software since being 100% Windows-free (thank you SuSE 9.1!), he actively promotes use of FOSS wherever he goes. Current interests include desktop management based on open source solutions.
