This presentation will be focused for beginners who have old computer hardware sitting around and would like to get it to a functional state for donation or use. The presentation will focus on Linux distributions and software which allow some paleolithic machines to be resuscitated and returned to meaningful use in a variety of situations. Presentation will include descriptions of past examples that I have taken part in as well as live examples of running machines for various purposes.
